Women's Safety Initiative Code of Conduct
To ensure the Women’s Safety Initiative (WSI) remains a broad-church organisation that can effectively communicate its message to the wider public, all members are expected to uphold the following standards. These principles help the organisation remain survivor-focused, empathetic, and accessible, grounded in truth and compassion, not division.
Each member of WSI is expected to:
-
Keep all shared personal and sensitive information confidential, especially when victims choose to share their stories.
-
Treat all other members with kindness, empathy, and respect, regardless of background, religion, race, or personal experience.
-
Refrain from any actions that could bring WSI into disrepute or attract harmful or unwanted attention.
-
Never incite violence or use racial slurs in any context.
-
Avoid association or engagement with groups like Britain First, Patriotic Alternative and The Homeland Party.
-
Not engage in any form of harassment, including sexual comments, intimidation, or unwanted physical contact.
-
Avoid aggressive or bullying behaviour, whether in person or online.
-
Respect WSI’s non-partisan foundation by not bringing political party agendas into the organisation’s work or events.
These expectations are in place to protect the integrity of WSI’s mission and to create a safe, inclusive, and effective environment for all members and survivors.
